On race day – feel the energy as the dogs eagerly await the start. The excitement builds as the dogs are harnessed – pulling and eager to run. As the chaos reaches a crescendo, their leader gives a command – LET’S GO! A sudden calm fills the air as the sled surges onto the course while the memory of the dogs' energy remains amongst the crowd. 

It's an experience shared with the whole community - locals and visitors, spectators and volunteers.  The Cascade Quest, a presentation of the Northwest Sled Dog Association, is unique to the area and perfect for all ages.

Four event classes showcase the abilities of the mushers and their canine athletes.  There is a class for everyone from the "big" teams, to purebred teams, to the sporting class, all for the pure love of the dogs and sport.  This event provides a unique opportunity to showcase your community spirit by becoming a sponsor. The success of the Cascade Quest is built upon your generous support. Our goal is to raise a cash purse of $10,000 to attract top mushers from around the continental US and western Canada.  Your sponsorship can make it all of this happen. Choose from a variety of support options and become part of the team!

The Cascade Quest supports the Chelan County Fire District 9 in celebration of The Spirit of Community.  A minimum of 10% of all sponsorship dollars help to provide vital firefighting equipment and training for the all volunteer brigade.

All sponsors will have their name or business name/website listed and linked on the Cascade Quest web site and in all NWSDA newsletters from time of contract to the following year’s fundraising season.
