EVENT SCHEDULE

All events take place at the Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club unless otherwise noted.
Schedules and routes may change due to weather and trail conditions.
Up-to-date information will be available at the Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club on race days.

The Cascade Quest also welcomes spectators to observe the teams on the trail
via snowmobile, x-county skis or snowshoes.
Please, for the safety of the teams, be respectful of their space, SLOW DOWN and share the trail!

Friday, February 1st  Event Description 
 All Day  Meet the Mushers Take advantage of this opportunity to meet mushers and dogs and talk shop! 
 10am 6 Dog Stage Race Start  These 6 dog teams will begin leg one of their race, a rugged and beautiful 25 mile run that will bring them back to the Rec club to overnight. 
 2pm  16 dog 200 mile Iditarod Qualifier Race Start These teams will begin their race with 50 miles of mountainous trail leading to their Stonewater Ranch Checkpoint.  They will then continue on for 150 miles, traveling through the Rec Club and Trinity Checkpoints and a finish at the Rec Club. 
TBA Visit a Checkpoint Greet the teams as they arrive, warm up at the community bonfire and marshmallow roast! Location TBA.

 All Day Meet the Mushers   Take advantage of this opportunity to meet mushers and dogs and talk shop!
All Day Snowshoe Demos and Races Join Leavenworth Mountain Sports for snowshoe fun at the Cascade Quest!
Complimentary snowshoe demos will be available and don't miss out on the kids' snowshoe races! There will also be x-country ski and snowshoe rental package give-aways!
 8am-Noon  LWRC Pancake Breakfast

The Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club will hold their annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, Feb 2. Support the LWRC and get your day off to a great start with a hot, delicious breakfast for $5.

 9am Sporting/Recreation Class Start   Coming Soon
NOON-3PM LWRC Lunch Support the LWRC - just stop in for a hot lunch between race starts.
