JANUARY 29-31, 2010 CASCADE QUEST
CLASS & FORMAT INFORMATION
| 12 Dog/150 Mile Stage Race The course consists of three (3) stages over three days, totaling 150 miles. Day one is 50 miles with an overnight at Stonewater Ranch. Day two is 50 miles with an overnight at the historic mining ghost town of Trinity. Day three is 50 miles with a finish at the Lake Wenatchee Rec Club. 6 Dog / 75 Mile Stage Race The course consists of three (3) stages over three days, totaling 75 miles. Day one is a 25-mile loop. Day two is a 25-mile run to the historic mining ghost town of Trinity for an overnight. Day three is a 25-mile return route. 6 Dog / 50 Mile Purebreed This class is open to teams consisting entirely of purebred dogs. The course consists of two (2) stages over two days, totaling 50 miles. Day one is 25 miles to the historic mining ghost town of Trinity for an overnight. Day two is a 25-mile return route. This WILL be a timed event. Merit awards WILL be provided. There will be NO purse for this event. 2-6 Dog / 24 Mile Sporting/Recreation Class This class, an enjoyable run for mushers of any skill level, is open for 2-6 dog teams and skijorers. The course consists of two (2) 12 mile stages held over two (2) days, totaling 24 miles. Day one is a 12-mile loop and day two is run the reverse of day one. Teams may run either or both days for the same fee. * 1-17-10 Update: Skijorers may enter with a single dog. This WILL be a timed event. Merit awards WILL be provided for teams completing both days. There will be NO purse for this event. |

ENTRY INFORMATION
Enter the 2010 Cascade Quest!:
* Early entry deadline (at a reduced fee)
is 12-11-09.
* Entry deadline is 1-11-10.
* After 1-11-10 entries will be considered on a case by case basis.
* 1-20-10 Update: Sporting/Rec entries can be accepted until 8am Sat Jan 30th at the Sporting/Rec Mushers Meeting and Gear Check for that class.

Entry Packet (6 Documents):
* All Entry Packet documents will be available here as they are updated for 2010. Please check back for any changes to the documents after they are initially posted.
* A hard copy of the Entry Packet, excluding Race Rules, will be sent to each Musher as soon as all of those documents are available.
* 1-20-10 Update: The entry packet documents are all now updated and posted below. As the race dates are so near and many folks are about to travel for other events, each entrant will receive an entry packet email with attached documents later in the day on 1-20-10.
* A hard copy of the Race Rules will be provided at the Mushers Meetings.
